I’ve been told that I need to make a blog for quite a while now, and I feel that the time has come to begin to speak. So this site will be a place for me to place the things that are in my journals and in my mind: to set forth the things that are set upon me.
I humbly confess that the Spirit is given to all those who believe in the Lamb of God and look to Him for Life and Peace; it is this Spirit upon whom I wholly depend to speak words that are good and true.
Let those who will, test these words, and see if there is Life in them. For I am no teacher. Whatever wisdom I have in myself, I utterly and desperately forsake. I have despaired of it. Truly, I myself am no teacher, but by Him I am truly Taught. If I do not confess this, I make God a liar and there is no Hope for me. Jesus Christ has indeed come in the Flesh and has made known to us the Father, and to know the Father is eternal life. And the Holy Spirit is the one who testifies to our spirit, our spirits being made one with the Father in the Son through His atoning work on the cross, which was for the sins of the whole world. And the presence of this Spirit in our bodies is able to cleanse us from every defilement of the flesh, so that we may be salt and light before this generation, proclaiming to the ends of the earth this Word of life. This Word we proclaim and bear witness to and demonstrate before them, so that they too may share in the fellowship and Joy that we have with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ: That we all may rejoice over them. That our Joy may be complete.
These things, this vision of the glory of the God who is Love, I cling to. I believe, and by His unfathomable grace I will continue to believe. These words for me are more than words. These words are my Life. I choose the better portion, it will not be taken from me. The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; You hold my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places, indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance.
Come, friends, and drink with me the Love of God in Christ Jesus. This cup does not run dry: it becomes more full and more sweet the more who drink of it, be it ever so deeply. Our God, my God, He is Good. He is Good and the Wellspring of all good. No one has good or does good apart from Him. I beg you to turn to Him. Make Him your shelter and your trust. I can do nothing else for you. There is nothing more that I can give. Hallelujah, He is perfect in wisdom and in power, clothed in righteousness, crowned with justice, abounding in steadfast Love. In His presence there is fulness of Joy, at His right hand are pleasures forevermore. Hallelujah, there is nothing more to give.
May God use these things to accomplish His purpose for you. This alone is my desire and delight. To this I submit my whole body and mind.
May His Kingdom come, may His Will be done. Hallowed be His Name.
